We miss you Blizzard North and we will never forget this game. It was a dark and accessible world where anyone could enter but few would ever leave. It was not the saccharine world of nintendo, the slow turn based strategy games that dominated the PC scene then or the increasingly arcane 2d fighter. For many, myself included, it was their first foray into online multiplayer and it was good. Few will ever forget their first meeting with the butcher or their battle with the Skeleton King. Though its graphics are aged and outdated, the sound, voice acting and atmosphere are a morosely compelling as it ever was. Yes it does not compare to the richness of current gaming.
